Located at 525 E 18th Street in Downtown Antioch (next to Dairy Queen), the Community Outreach Center exists to help provide for the spiritual, physical, and emotional needs of the vulnerable around us. Below are some of the services available.
Monday-Friday, doors open @ 5pm. Our desire is that no one in our community suffer from hunger or malnutrition. Each night we serve a wholesome, home-cooked hot meal to satisfy our appetite. However, we also realize there is a spiritual hunger that God wants to fulfill in each one of us and we have a brief worship service designed to help us connect with the Lord each evening. Everyone is welcome to join regardless of their faith background.
Tuesday (10am–12:30pm), Wednesday (3–5pm) or Thursday (10am-12:30pm). We are a Christian-based ministry providing resources, referrals, and assistance to help individuals and families develop a plan to deal with a crisis or ongoing difficulty. Some of the issues we help with include—but are not limited to—housing/shelter, food programs, resume writing, job search, online job applications, family services assistance, rehabilitation program referrals, Spanish translations, and assistance filling out forms.
Monday–Wednesday from 5–6pm. Young people ages 5–16 are invited to join in a fun and exciting night of games, music, snacks, and Bible stories.
Open every Monday from 3pm–5pm, Thursday from 9am–12pm, and Friday from 3pm–5pm. Do you like free coffee? Come to our Common Grounds Bistro! Relax in a warm and welcoming atmosphere where you can enjoy a time of refreshing and low-cost snacks.
Doors open at 10am with free coffee, live worship & low cost snacks. Service is Sundays at 10:30am & low cost lunch available after.
Tuesday & Thursday (8am–12pm). For those in our community that struggle finding a place to freshen up and feel clean, our shower ministry helps unlock opportunities that come along with being clean. With shower comes hygiene items and a fresh change of clothing.
On the 3rd Thursday of each month from 5-7pm, we host an Info Tour & Dinner. Discover what God is doing in and through the Community Outreach Center. You're invited to come take the tour and hear how God is cultivating a good work in you to use your time and talents to grow the kingdom.
