Simply Women

Ladies, join us for Simply Women! As Christians, we are called to put to death what belongs to our earthly nature and to put on our new self, in the image of the Lord (Colossians 3:5-10). But it is so easy to slip back into the practices of our old self when the trials of life hit us. Catching up with a friend can easily turn into a gossip session. A stressful day, a disagreement, or a perceived injustice causes us to speak out in anger or malice, maybe even use obscene language. Our circumstances can often overshadow how we ought to speak to one another. In the second installment of our 3-part series on Gospel-Wise Words, we will explore how the gospel shapes our words inward to our church family. Allowing the word of Christ to dwell in us, we can bear with, forgive, teach, and admonish one another; with thankfulness, compassion, humility, and love.
