MOPS, Thursdays, 9am-11:15am W129/130
Welcome to MOPS of Golden Hills Community Church! MOPS is a program for Mothers of Preschoolers (pregnancy through age 5). Our mission is to support all mothers of preschoolers by nurturing friendships and encouraging personal growth for moms and their kids in a fun, comfortable environment by sharing the love of Jesus Christ through living by example. It is about celebrating motherhood, meeting needs, making connections, and experiencing God's love through relationships and resources. Teaching topics include womanhood, marriage, child rearing and the home. These provide the spark for lively discussion groups, which are followed by a time in which creative skills are developed.
TeenMOPS, Mondays, 5:30pm-8pm, in E132
TeenMOPS stands for Teen Mother of Preschoolers. If you are a teen mom who is pregnant, or a teen mom with a child under the age of six years old, you'll find a warm welcome at TeenMOPS. TeenMOPS is a Christian, faith-based organization that offers practical and emotional support through fun activities, great speakers, and the support of mentor moms. TeenMOPS is a fantastic opportunity to meet with others in a similar stage of life and to build positive relationships for you and your child. Any teen that is under the age of 21 and is pregnant or has a baby is welcome, no matter what's going on in your life. Because everyone has value and everyone is precious.
MOMSNext is for the encouragement of moms whose children are no longer pre-schoolers (children in elementary school and/or through 5th grade). MOMSNext meets with the MOPS group at their own table.
