Shepherding Ministries Overview
Clinical Counseling Ministry - Our counseling center currently has full and part time counselors on staff. Our goal is to provide professional, affordable Christian counseling to those that need to experience the healing touch of Jesus. Click HERE for more information about the Clinical Counseling Ministry.
Connecting Ministry - From the moment a person arrives until the time they leave, the staff and volunteers of this ministry are here to help. We are the greeters and ushers; the volunteers in the Information Center, the HeBrews Bistro, the New Guest Center, the First Time Guest Center, the GHCConnection, and the Newcomer's Welcome Luncheon. We will also be in contact with each visitor through our Telecare Ministry.Click HERE for more information about Connecting Ministry.
Growth Group and Discipleship Ministry - The Lord wants us to be vitally connected to one another in relationships that will encourage, inspire, and challenge us to be more like Jesus. These relationships can most easily be found in small groups here at GHCC, where we seek to be authentic with each other as we grow in our relationship with Christ, and experience life transforming friendships and the joy that comes with living in community.
Pastoral Care Ministry - The Shepherding pastors provide pastoral care to the church body and community through pastoral counseling, prayer, marriage preparation, memorial services and funerals, baptisms, child dedications, benevolent fund distribution, special classes and mentoring.
Recovery and Support Group Ministry - From no hope to New Hope ... That's the path of recovery we believe Jesus wants all of us to move along. Our desire is to make New Hope a safe place where you can experience the healing presence of Jesus Christ. Click HERE for more information about New Hope.
Prayer and Visitation Ministry - Our visitation ministry reaches out to those who are dealing with crisis situations in homes, hospitals, and skilled nursing facilities. It involves phone calls, written communications, personal visitation, and prayers for healing and recovery. Click HERE for more information about the Prayer and Visitation Ministry.
We also visit those who are in prisons and detention facilities through our Cell-to-Cross Prison Ministry. Click HERE for more information about Cell-toCross.
Deaf and Hard of Hearing Ministry - It is our purpose to glorify God by effectively communicating the gospel of Jesus Christ with deaf & hard of hearing people and making disciples who will impact every area of the world for Christ. It is our desire to support the deaf and hard of hearing community with opportunities to share the message of God's love through relationships and resources.
