God's Mission
God's mission is to reveal His glory by reconciling every nation, tribe, language and people to Himself (Revelation 7:9), so that they may one day worship before His throne.
God has been about this since the very beginning, since humans fell into sin and ultimately were scattered at the Tower of Babel (Genesis 11).
From that point, God chose one man, Abraham, to father a great nation, through whom all the peoples of the earth would be blessed (Genesis 12).
From this point in scripture onward - from Genesis to Revelation - God reveals his longing to reach every nation more than 1,000 times.
And God has summoned every believer to be a part of His mission to reach the nations (Matthew 28:18-20, Acts 1:8)
God's Story: A climax of the Bible reveals the central theme. The true focus and purpose of the cosmos is found in worship.

And so I will show my greatness and my holiness, and I will make myself known in the sight of many nations. Then they will know that I am the Lord.

Many nations will be joined with the Lord in that day and will become my people.
Zechariah 2:11
Look at the nations and watch— and be utterly amazed. For I am going to do something in your days that you would not believe, even if you were told.
