Our Purpose

Our desire is to glorify God and give special needs students a safe and caring environment as they discover Jesus' great love for them, giving parents the assurance their child is well cared for while they attend worship.

Classrooms

We offer three different Sunday school classes during the 11:30 AM service to best fit your child's spiritual and developmental needs:

Fortress: Designed for Middle School, High School and College age youth.

Safe Harbor: Designed for older age preschoolers through young elementary age.

Precious Gems: This class is for students of all ages who require more individualized care. We maintain a ratio of 3 students to every teacher in this class.

Fairhaven: During the 9:45 AM service we offer one combined class.

Other Special Needs Ministry Events

There are several annual events such as:

• Jump'N and Jam'N Family Fun Day (late summer/fall)
• Student Christmas event/parent night out (December)

We also offer Respite Care Nights offered at various times throughout the year. These nights are designed to give parents of our Sunday school class students an opportunity for some "down time" while the students come for two hours of fun food and games.

Our Teams

Wonderful teams of volunteers who are carefully screened before they serve in the classroom serve in Special Needs Ministry. They are serving because they know the importance of teaching these dear children about God's love and how Jesus has provided a way for us to live with Him forever.
