Middle school 180 small groups will begin on Wednesday, 9/3; this program runs throughout the school year. Students are encouraged to register for a small group on Wednesday, August 20, or 27.

Come by anytime between 9-11am to find out more about MOPS, which is held the first and third Thursday starting in September, and register for the beginning of the year. The best gifts sometimes come in the smallest packages. This is true with four of the shortest ("smallest") books in the New Testament - Philemon, Jude, 2nd & 3rd John. You are invited to come and join us as we open up the lessons from these small but powerful New Testament "Postcards." This is led by Ted Grant.
Colossians Study TODAY @ 10:55am in W246/247. Details
This is a study through the book of Colossians. We will explore Paul's main theme, that Christ is Lord over all creation and that He (Jesus) has secured redemption of His people, empowering them to participate with Him in His death, resurrection, and fullness. This class will also help train believers in various Bible study methods, allowing for a stronger ability to read and interpret Scripture. This class will be taught by Vinnie Angelo, who holds an MA in Theology from Fuller Theological Seminary.

These short letters are packed with doctrine, illustrations, and practical insights for victorious Christian living. GHCC Budget Report: Our 2014 general fund is running at 97% of budget. This represents a year-to-date shortfall of $105,637. Praise the Lord for meeting our every need (Phil. 4:19) and for your faithfulness.
A BIG thank you to everyone who took the time to bake homemade cookies during our hot weather. The kids at Juvenile Hall really appreciated all the goodies that were donated. Thank you for your caring and generosity.
