ADULT EDUCATION AND ENRICHMENT
Colossians Study TODAY @ 10:55am in W246/247. Details
This is a 6-week study through the book of Colossians which began last Sunday. We will explore Paul's main theme, that Christ is Lord over all creation and that He (Jesus) has secured redemption of His people, empowering them to participate with Him in His death, resurrection, and fullness. This class will also help train believers in various Bible study methods, allowing for a stronger ability to read and interpret Scripture. This class will be taught by Vinnie Angelo, who holds an MA in Theology from Fuller Theological Seminary. Colossians study began July 20th @ 10:55am in W246/247.
Beginning Sun, 8/3: New Testament Postcards @ 9:20am in W248. Call x7101 to pre-register. Details
The best gifts sometimes come in the smallest packages. This is true with four of the shortest ("smallest") books in the New Testament - Philemon, Jude, 2nd & 3rd John. You are invited to come and join us as we open up the lessons from these small but powerful New Testament "Postcards." This class will be led by Ted Grant. Class begins August 3rd @ 9:20am in W248. Call x7101 to pre-register.

MARRIAGE MINISTRY
Sacred Marriage class TODAY @ 9:20am in W234/235. Details
What if God designed marriage to make us holy and not just happy? In this 6-week DVD series, author Gary Thomas will help you understand the Lord's intention for matrimony. Discover how respecting your partner, forgiving and accepting forgiveness, engaging in intimacy, and building a history with your spouse, can release the nature of Christ in your life! A Focus on the Family recommendation. Lead by Harry & Caroline Beltram, III.
Young & Married class: TODAY @ 10:55am in W236. Details
God uses Song of Solomon, an eight-chapter book of poetry tucked in the middle of the Bible, as a guideline to handle the most important relationship we will ever have -- and that is -- of a husband and a wife. Song of Solomon is wisdom literature found in poetry form. Whether a single love poem or a collection of poems, God captures the uniqueness and distinctiveness of this exclusive relationship between husband and wife. This study will resurrect in us a godly view of marital love, romance, intimacy and sexuality. God reveals what a relationship ought to be like through a couple living in a way which honors and brings glory to Him -- from the beginning of attraction -- through engagement, proposal, wedding, and honeymoon night -- to deepening. Song of Solomon is an incredible gem, often overlooked, misunderstood, and misrepresented. This class is lead by Harry & Alex Beltram, IV.

PRIMETIMERS MINISTRIES
PrimeTimers NEW Sunday Study: The Journeys of Paul in Acts 11-28, 9:20am, W129/130. Details
Over the Summer and Fall, Pastor Rick Moe will be taking us through a series on Paul's missionary journeys as recorded in the Book of Acts, chapters 11-28. We will learn not only where he went, but also why. And through the use of pictures, we will also see many of the places where Paul and his associates visited (Iconium, Lystra, Derbe, Ephesus, Corinth, Philippi, and Athens). God used Paul as His point person to spread the Gospel beyond the borders of Israel and the Jewish people. For this, we owe Paul a great debt of gratitude. Cost: NONE. PrimeTimers Class meets at 9:20am in rooms W129/130 for refreshments, singing hymns, and wonderful lessons from God's Word. Taught by Pastor Rick Moe.
Upcoming Events: Sat, 9/6--Murder Mystery Social; Fri, 9/26--Oakland/Bay Bridge Walk & Lunch. Details
Visit our PrimeTimers webpage at: LINK for more info. Trips: We invite anyone and everyone to join us on our trips-whether a PrimeTimer or not. Bring your kids, grandkids, great grandkids, and your friends. As long as they can handle the walking involved, we'd love to have them. Socials: Because of space considerations at our socials, we prefer for those who attend to be "close" to the PrimeTimers ages of 60+. We say "close," because our pastor and several others in the class are not a PrimeTimers age (yet), so if you're in the ballpark, join us.
